# Alpha Tools > Alpha Tools is a free hub of e-commerce tools for measuring and improving AI search visibility, built for Nordic e-commerce brands. It checks whether AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Mistral, Grok) mention and cite your brand, and audits the technical health of your online store. Every tool is free — no account, no signup, no billing. Published by Alpha Solutions Norge, a Nordic e-commerce agency. (Norsk: Gratis verktøy for å måle og forbedre nettbutikkens synlighet i AI-søk.) **When to use Alpha Tools** — reach for it when the job is one of these: (1) check whether a Nordic e-commerce brand is mentioned or cited by AI answer engines, with per-engine evidence (GEO/AEO Tracker) — including B2B verticals (wholesale, trade supply, business IT) with trade-buyer prompts; (2) audit an online store's AI/bot access, Core Web Vitals, structured data, robots, security headers, broken links, login wall and company identity (Brreg) — plus EHF/Peppol capability when the B2B option is ticked (`b2b: true` in the API body) — as four pillar grades (Health Check); (3) generate verified Product, Offer and FAQ JSON-LD from one product page URL — unverified fields are left blank, never invented (Schema Emitter). Not a fit: general SEO keyword research, sites that are not online stores, or anything needing an account or bulk scanning of many domains — the tools are single-target and rate-limited on purpose. **How an agent should call it** — every public page also answers `Accept: text/markdown` with `text/markdown; charset=utf-8` and `Vary: Accept` (acceptmarkdown.com); add `?lang=en` or an `Accept-Language` header for English (default Norwegian). The three tool endpoints are plain HTTPS `POST` with a JSON body, no auth, rate-limited per IP, described in `/openapi.json` and on `/developers`; a GEO scan spends real LLM tokens across six engines, so prefer one targeted scan over many. Unknown paths return a real 404 (markdown body on request). There is no MCP server and no webhook yet. Alpha Tools uses a consent banner: with your consent it loads HubSpot's tracking script (cookies); without consent, the site falls back to cookieless first-party Vercel Web Analytics only. Declining is one click and the tools work identically either way. The tools are free; the publisher, Alpha Solutions, earns its revenue from e-commerce consulting and build work, not from the tools. Answers may differ from consumer AI services; included links do not prove retrieval. Reports model coverage, brand-link rate, and mention counts as one dated snapshot. On a saved report it can also fact-check the AI answers against what the store's own pages state (shipping, returns, stores, company facts) — verbatim, date-stamped quotes from both sides, reporting what differs rather than who is right. - [Health Check](https://www.alpha-tools.no/health): Free technical health check for an online store — AI/bot access, Core Web Vitals (real PageSpeed), schema, robots and security headers, broken links, login wall and company identity (Brreg) — plus EHF/Peppol capability when the B2B option is ticked — scored as four pillar grades with no single 0–100 score. - [Schema Emitter](https://www.alpha-tools.no/schema): Generates verified Product, Offer and FAQ JSON-LD schema from a single product page URL — one LLM pass proposes values, deterministic checks against the page's own content decide; unverified fields are left blank for manual fill-in, never invented. ## Developers - [Developers & agents guide](https://www.alpha-tools.no/developers): How to consume the site (markdown negotiation, llms.txt, sitemap), when Alpha Tools is the right tool, and the three public endpoints with their limits — `POST /api/health/scan`, `POST /api/geo/scan`, `POST /api/schema/generate`. - [OpenAPI 3.1](https://www.alpha-tools.no/openapi.json): Machine-readable description of the public endpoints (request bodies, NDJSON event types, 400/409/429 semantics, rate limits). - [Sitemap](https://www.alpha-tools.no/sitemap.xml): All indexable pages; per-user saved reports are deliberately excluded. - [robots.txt](https://www.alpha-tools.no/robots.txt): AI crawlers are allowed; `/api/` and `/geo/r/` are disallowed. ## Guides - [EHF invoicing for webshops and B2B sellers](https://www.alpha-tools.no/ehf-faktura): What EHF and Peppol are, who must send and receive e-invoices in Norway (public buyers today; between businesses subject to the Bookkeeping Act from 1 January 2027, receiving from 1 January 2030), how the Peppol Directory works (voluntary, receive-side listing), how a webshop typically gets set up, and how the Health Check reports EHF/Peppol receiving capability. Norwegian primary, English via `?lang=en`. ## About - [About](https://www.alpha-tools.no/about): Who publishes Alpha Tools — Alpha Solutions Norge, a Nordic e-commerce agency in Oslo founded in 2004 (Drammensveien 130 C19, 0277 Oslo; org. no. 921 147 325) — why the tools are free, and the honesty rules they enforce (no composite score, "not measured" is a real state, nothing unverified is emitted). - [Contact](https://www.alpha-tools.no/contact): How to reach a person — kontakt@alpha-tools.no for the tools and privacy, bmo@alpha-solutions.no for agency engagements, +47 90 05 49 40, and the postal address; plus what happens to an email address you give us (every collection point is double opt-in). - [Methodology](https://www.alpha-tools.no/metode): How the tools measure and grade, in plain language. - [Privacy](https://www.alpha-tools.no/personvern): Consent-based tracking — HubSpot cookies only after opt-in via the site's consent banner; cookieless Vercel Web Analytics otherwise. ## Optional - [Pricing](https://www.alpha-tools.no/pricing.md): All tools are free (NOK 0); agency services are custom-quoted. - [Alpha Solutions](https://www.alpha-solutions.no): The Nordic e-commerce agency (Oslo, founded 2004) that publishes Alpha Tools.
